Anthony Rowe is a Senior Bushfire Consultant with Emerge Associates and is a BPAD level 3 (WA), practitioner.  Emerge Associates specialises in providing holistic bushfire solutions to Local Government. 

Formerly he has been employed as the Manager of Planning and Building functions within Local Government in South Australia and Western Australia, and the enforcement of approvals in bushfire prone areas. 

‘What’s the point if it’s not enforced’ is something all practitioners find themselves questioning, and throughout his career, Anthony has consistently advocated the importance of follow-through and follow-on. 

He is a realist who believes in polite but assertive enforcement on the things that matter. 

Over his 30 year career, he has seen both the nature of resistance and the practical limitations to effective enforcement but this has also given him the insights into current trends and opportunities.
