Nigel Bell of ECOdesign Architects will lead the Pre-Conference Field Trip – an all-day bus tour of bushfire recovery homes within the 2013 fire grounds. Nigel has been involved in the bushfire recovery in Victoria after their 2009 fires and more recently for the 2013 Blue Mountains fires.

He’s authored three ‘Environmental Design Notes’ on bushfire matters for professionals; run recovery and regulation workshops; and represented Architects on the three Australian Standards concerning bushfire regulations.
